So glad to have the opportunity to work...

So glad to have the opportunity to work with Coach Parry. Just over a year ago I had serious hip surgery and with the guidance and following each training plan, I've been able to regain my running strength and have seen my times consistently drop. Fantastic running plan to suit my goals...

Fantastic running plan to suit my goals and needs. Brilliant guidance and inspiration in the form of podcasts, videos, 121's and emails from friendly and knowledgeable professionals. Happy old runner

I signed up with Coach Parry for an initial 3 months and was very impressed with the strength & conditioning classes and overall support via the forum and online weekly Q&A so then committed to a further 12 months! My goals were running pain free as a 55 year old and to get under 22mins for 5k. After 6 months both are now achieved. My data from Garmin and Stryd are suggesting that my running economy is improving across all metrics: vertical oscillation, stride length, leg spring stiffness and ground contact time balance. I am running faster and a 2 year old injury is almost unnoticeable now. Thank you for all the support Mark

I have benefitted hugely from my training with Coach Parry. I am now able to run pain-free, without aching muscles, joints or plantar fasciitis trouble. I have also noticed significant improvements in my hip and core stability, something which I did not expect when I joined. My initial goals were to be able to run pain-free, without niggling injuries and to run a "30 minute something" 5K. I have already run a 29.59 5K and to be honest, I never thought I would be capable of this given my previous injury and health issues. I have learned more than training techniques from Coach Parry. I know now it is possible to exercise "around" injuries and also that I can still surprise myself at 52! I look forward to seeing what the next while will bring. On the web-based app you are able to drag and drop training sessions to better suit your week's schedule.

You are also able to sync your training schedule with your fitness device through Strava or Garmin Connect. This will automatically pull your training data into the Coach Parry Online Training Club so that you are easily able to analyse your training and training load over time.

In the Coach Parry Online Training Club, you are able to track and analyse your training volume as well as heart rate. Cadence and power are also tracked which means the Coach Parry coaching staff are able to give you accurate advice, backed by scientific data on your training or racing questions.

Rerunning at age 55

I am 55 and just started running again. I found this website by accident and so glad I did. Highly recommend for those over 50 struggling with fatigue, soreness, etc. Online strength classes have really helped and Coach Parry's strategy that running slower actually makes you run faster in the long run along with reduced miles has been a God send.

Love the programs!

I've done 2 programs so far and love it! The strength training has helped me to now have pain free running and recovery. I am 60 and have been running less than 2 years. I wish I had discovered this program earlier. Would have saved myself an injury. I'm using both the faster beyond 50 running program and the running through menopause strength training. Fabulous!

First half marathon at 69

I'm 68 and needed help in training for a half marathon. Coach Parry advised me to work on 5K for 12 weeks, then 10k for 12 weeks, then preparation for the half. After the first 12 week cycle my time has improved from 40 minutes to 36.05. I'm confident that, if I follow all aspects of the training plan then I'll be able to get my 10k time down. This is all about building my confidence to run injury free, for the pure enjoyment of running a half marathon. I'm now becoming more sure that I can do it! Thanks so much to everyone on Coach Parry's team for their support and great advice. P.S. CoachParry - Highly Recommended

This review is after five months of use. I highly recommend the CoachParry services. The workouts provided were excellent and prepared me for my last two ultra marathons (I have only run one other, immediately before starting with CoachParry). I have remained healthy, injury free, and have improved my endurance as well as speed, though for me at this point, speed is secondary. I am moving from mediocre recreational running of approx 20 miles per week with no goals to preparing for multiple ultra marathons (50K - 50Mile) this year, plus shorter races of 5K, 10K, half marathon and possibly marathon with pace goals at each distance. Next year I plan to run my first 100 mile. In April of this year I ran my first 50 mile and was able to place 3rd in my age category, in a starting field of 56, with 11,400 feet of elevation, and a 30% DNF. I believe CoachParry's program is directly responsible for my success. The running program is excellent, the strength program is excellent, and the resources on the website are excellent. Simply all around excellent!
